Most people when they think of Oklahoma period, they think of weeds and farms,HA, you blinked,enter Oklahoma City!.Ive been to
Oklahoma City many times,it has many Museums and alot of friendly people there,if you get a chance drop by the Oklahoma City bombing memorial.
The heart of the city is Bricktown, you can drop by and watch the Oklahoma City Thunder play in NBA action,(they'll get better) or watch some minor league baseball with the Redhawks.
BUT the most fun for me is the riverwalk,I went during the arts festival so there was alot of people there. they had quite a few bands playing,I didnt catch their names,but the one playing "play that funky music" was jammin. the riverwalk is similar to the one in San antonio, a little smaller but it looks like its getting bigger everytime I go.Bricktown has plenty of places to eat and drink(and I probably had too much, have to watch that,lol).I ate at Hooters,yes I know, great chicken wings, thats what youre thinking:-) the girls there were not only beautiful but very nice,if I get a chance to,Ill be back there,for the chicken that is,lol.
they also have Horse and buggy rides,very nice, around the downtown area.it was alot going on down there,I always come at a good time,BUT the Nightlife, OH what I was waiting for,I was invited to come down to the Club City Walk,http://high.citybrickwalk.com/, and was not dissapointed, this is a mult-club complex,has 8 clubs in all,I went to all of them,it was all a very nice atmosphere and all the people that worked there were very nice ,NOW I am not much of a dancer,in fact I think youd better stay on your side of the floor,lol, but I met a nice lady out there and I was out there, wasnt bad,she lived,lol, but it was great and I had a wonderful time out there,I regret I didnt get to see the Skyy Bar but hopefullY Ill be back for a 2nd or 3rd round,but yes, if youre coming thru Oklahoma,make a stop in Bricktown,I think you'll be impressed.
